How to Make Killer Nachos!

by Matt Thompson

This is a quick & easy recipe for killer nachos that you can make yourself. If you follow the instructions, you'll end up with amazingly tasty nachos better, faster and cheaper than the ones you'll find in any restaurant.

Ingredients:

One bag white flour tortilla chips (preferably lime flavored)
One bag Sargento Fancy Nacho & Taco shredded cheese
One container Vlasic zesty jalapeno slices (or, if possible, home grown jalapenos from a garden)
One container hot dog Coney sauce (or 1/4 pound cooked ground beef)
One container Land'O'Lakes sour cream
(Optional) One bag Sargento shredded Mozzarella cheese
One jar of the name brand and flavor Salsa of your choice

Instructions:

Put about three handfuls of tortilla chips onto a large plate. Place jalapeno slices at about one or two inch intervals around the chips. Cover with a generous layer of Nacho & Taco cheese (and a sprinkling of Mozzarella if so desired). Add a thin to medium layer of Coney sauce (or ground beef). Top it all off with two large spoonfuls of sour cream and two large spoonfuls of salsa (or, if so desired, serve the salsa on the side). Put plate in microwave, cover it with a paper towel (to prevent a mess in the microwave) and nuke it for 65 seconds. Remove, let cool down for about 2 minutes and enjoy!

It takes less than 10 minutes to put together this nacho plate. The end result, as stated above, is an extremely tasty and addictive Mexican treat that Beavis himself would be proud to devour!
